Animation

This is an animation I did for my school's 'Mostra Cultural' (which is like a science fair minus the freedom to create whatever you want and the awards you get for  best project):

So...

Alright, so I'm kind of in love with this song right now and yeah, ok, it's pop and it's not even current pop music (it's a few years old) and it contains loads of swearing and etc, but I can't help it, Pink has the coolest bad-ass attitude and such an unique voice I had to post this video.

ARGHH!

ARGGHHH! I'M SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!

I feel like punching someone!

I just finished my exam's week (yeah, we have that at school, it's awesome...) and teachers won't cut me a break! I have tons of homework...hey, and guess what? Some of them are graded! And they were given today, due Thursday! (thank you very much Social Studies teacher, answering questions about "The history of the English language" will certainly take the edge off of receiving my report card!), and, to top it all, I have a Mock exam on the 26th, which coincides with the picture day (can you imagine how psycho I will look in that photo?)

I'm freaking out! I basically swore at my language teacher (which is something you really shouldn't do) when he decided to give us more homework, and I snapped at nearly everyone who came close to me...Plus, I think I burned to many neurons doing so, cuz’ I'm starting to feel sleepy...

I'm gonna end my post here and take a nap...Later I'll come back and post something more interesting...

Fanzine

Hey, I haven't posted in a while (I know, my bad) I've been kind of busy lately...Well, anyway,
I decided I'd make it up by writing a fanzine (a fanzine is a type of magazine about an specific artist, movie or television show), here is an article I wrote last week (and only now had the opportunity to post)

Fanzine

You probably heard Avril Lavigne’s latest song, “Alice” (that was featured in that tiny, insignificant, *scoffs*, I-bet-you-didn’t-even-know-it-existed, movie called Alice in wonderland). The video clip for it was recently released, and 26-year-old Lavigne, looked amazing while promoting Disney’s new adaptation of this classic (that was directed by Tim Burton and featured actors such as Johnny Deep and Anne Hathaway). It’s been a long time since Avril released a new track (2007’s “The best damn thing” was the last we ever heard of her in terms of music), but now she’s back, and god knows how much we missed her!

Her unique music, style and attitude brought her fame and fans world wide. Even though she only launched 4 Cds so far, this Canadian singer has been on the road since she turned 18 (when she left school after 11th grade and decided to pursue her dream as an artist). Avril Lavigne’s debut album (“Let Go”) went 6x platinum, becoming the third most sold album of 2002 (pretty good for a teen who started singing at church choirs at age 5).

She described this album as a pop album with "a couple of rock songs on it", and has indicated a desire to write more rock-oriented songs in the future. It was released by Arista on June 4, 2002 in the United States, reaching number two there and number one in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom (making Lavigne the youngest female solo act ever at the time to have a number-one album in the UK).

She formerly traveled with a bag full of about thirty neck ties. Some of them she bought, and the rest of them she took from her father and some were sent to her by fanmail. Avril Lavigne stopped wearing neckties completely in 2003, as she was horrified at the constant media references to them overshadowing her music and that she was starting a fashion trend amongst her fans.

Avril Lavigne is a vegetarian. Some members of the old school, hardcore punk community have an intense dislike for Lavigne and her style of music, which they believe waters down what punk is really all about. Comments Avril Lavigne has made, showing a lack of knowledge/interest in the seventies punk movement and the luminaries of that movement (Avril Lavigne once admitted to not ever having heard of the Sex Pistols), has led some to label her a poser. However, Avril Lavigne has consistently stated that her music is not punk rock and that she does not believe she is punk. Although it's constantly debated whether or not Avril Lavigne is punk, there have been several (and more recent) occasions where she has stated "I'm not punk, that's a whole other world. If anything I'm more rock or pop."

Well, I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t careless if she is a punk or not! She is amazing, beautiful and talented, call her a poser if you will, but it doesn’t change a damn thing, she’s still freakin’ awesome!

My first post!

Hey,
I'm new in this blogger thing...I'm kind of doing it for school, you know?
Next January I'm going on an international exchange with Canada (for 2 months), but right now I live in Brazil and study in a bilingual school. In our ICT class, the teacher told us to create a blog so we could keep in touch with our parents, so I started this..."Thing"
I really don't have much to say...What do you write about in a blog anyway?

I dunno, I'll figure something out for my next post...
